RED SHOES BOY

Red Shoes Boy began two years ago as an unrehearsed, garage blues two piece who played three original songs in every show and wailed the rest of the set away with William Dixon numbers. With the addition of two new members, Red Shoes Boy quickly garnered a reputation as a live force to be reckoned with. Their name became synonymous with sweaty fuzzed out blues rock jams and the crowds of eager punters packed in to see them at the five week Norfolk Basement residency in Fremantle. They’ve now supported the likes of Tame Impala, Felicity Groom and the Black Black Smoke and the Novocaines, and played at the Southbound Festival. Red Shoes Boy released the white label Stagger EP in December 2009, recorded over two days in the dark depths of the Norfolk Basement, a makeshift studio designed by the band to bring out the bands organic, analogue sound.
